Membership Types

The Poole Yacht Club offers a variety of membership options to cater to different needs and lifestyles.

Full Membership

Ideal for individuals or families who own boats and are looking to enjoy the full range of club facilities and benefits.

  • Berthing Rights Full Members may apply for berthing.
  • Voting Rights The main member has the right to vote at the AGM.
  • Guest Sign-In Up to 12 guests may be signed in each year.
  • Levy Top-Up £100 to be used at the bar.

Associate Membership

A great option for crew members, sailing enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys the social and sporting life of the club.

  • Use of Club Facilities Associate Members can enjoy the facilities of the club.
  • Levy Top-Up £50 to be used at the bar.

Youth Membership

Available to members under the age of 24.

Youth Membership provides access to The Poole Yacht Club facilities and activities. Each year of Youth Membership held from October 2022 counts towards eligibility for a Haven berth.

Participation in sailing and social events

  • Vote rights over 18years old
  • Dinghy park space application (up to 2 years)
  • Slipway and beach use (dinghy only – up to 2 years)
