Berth Waiting List

High Demand for Haven Berths

Berths within the Haven are in high demand and are allocated based on membership seniority.
All berths are currently fully occupied, and new allocations are managed through a structured waiting list.

Access to the waiting list is available to Full Members only.

How the Waiting List Works

To ensure fair and appropriate allocation, separate waiting lists are maintained based on:

  • Pontoon location, and

  • Vessel size, including overall length and any overhanging parts (e.g. anchor, rudder, engines)

When a berth becomes available, it is offered to the next eligible member whose vessel matches the berth specification.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the berth waiting list, you must:

  • Be a Full Member of the Club

  • Be the owner of the vessel (proof of ownership required) and needs to be uploaded into Harbour Assist portal

  • Ensure your vessel is adequately insured, including a minimum of £3,000,000 third-party liability cover

Applications are valid only for the vessel specified. Any changes in ownership or vessel details must be reported, and a new application may be required.

Application Process

To join the waiting list:

  1. Complete the Berth Waiting List Application Form

  2. Provide proof of ownership

  3. Pay the required deposit (see below)

You will be formally added to the waiting list 90 days after the deposit has been received.

Deposit and Payment

A deposit is required at the time of application. The amount depends on the berth size required:

  • 5m finger berth: £250

  • 6m finger berth: £300

  • 7m finger berth: £350

  • 8m finger berth: £400

  • 9m finger berth: £450

  • 10m finger berth: £500

The appropriate berth size will be determined based on your vessel dimensions.

Berth Allocation

When a berth becomes available:

  • The next eligible Full Member on the relevant waiting list is identified

  • Allocation is based on membership seniority and vessel suitability

  • The Club Office will contact the member directly with an offer

If the berth is declined or unsuitable, it will be offered to the next member in line.

Important Notes

  • Waiting times may vary depending on berth size and availability

  • Being on the waiting list does not guarantee immediate allocation

  • Members are responsible for keeping their contact and vessel details up to date
