We offer a limited number of swinging moorings available for hire from 1 April to 30 September each year. A total of 21 moorings are owned and managed by the Club, with additional spaces secured through arrangements with the Poole Harbour Commissioners.
Applications for swinging moorings open on 1 January and close at the end of February.
All moorings are allocated based on:
The size and requirements of the vessel
Availability at the time of allocation
Successful applicants will be allocated a mooring for the period:
1 April to 30 September, or
Up to 31 October, subject to appropriate insurance cover
Once all Club-managed moorings have been allocated, applicants may be referred to alternative providers within our launch service area, including:
Poole Harbour Commissioners
Poole Moorings (local commercial provider)
These organisations offer additional mooring options subject to their own availability and terms.
Please note that swinging mooring availability is limited. The allocation criteria are as follows: Existing mooring holders are required to submit the form to confirm retention of their space. New applicants will be considered subject to availability, with spaces allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
