Through the Sailability Sailors programme, Poole Yacht Club proudly supports an inclusive environment where sailors with disabilities can participate in sailing activities alongside their families, friends, carers, and volunteers.
Sailability is a national initiative designed to ensure that sailing is accessible to everyone, regardless of physical ability, previous experience, or background. At Poole Yacht Club, this programme provides opportunities not only to sail but also to build friendships, develop skills, and become part of a welcoming maritime community.
Our Sailability activities focus on creating a safe, supportive, and enjoyable experience for all participants, while promoting independence, teamwork, and confidence on the water.
The Sailability Sailors programme at Poole Yacht Club provides:
